2008 FFB sleepers

Just curious if anybody has any compelling fantasy sleepers, loosely defined as someone drafted too late in many leagues or someone that outperforms their draft position.

Here's a few of my own takes:

QB's: T. Smith, Warner, Rodgers, Gerrard, Campbell, Palmer

RB's: Lynch, Turner, McFadden, Chris Johnson, T. Jones, K. Smith, P. Thomas

WR's:Holmes, Laurent Robinson, A. Gonzalez, Cotchery, Ginn Jr., Ca. Johnson, Jennings

TE: D. Lee, J. Carlson, T. Scheffler, Crumpler, Utecht

DEF: Houston, Miami

K: Graham, Scobee, Hanson

I like your sleeper pick in Utecht He's in a good passing offensive system and gets down the field in a hurry. Only problem is if anything's going deep it probably is going to Chad Johnson or T.J. Who'syourmamma. Inside the red zone he might be a better TD threat. Not to mention they are having some serious issues with injuries at the wide receiver position. It is possible that Carson Palmer good develope a great connection with Ben. Oh yeah plus he's a former Gopher. Can't go wrong there.

You really want to use that as a reason?

I wouldn't concider Calvin Johnson or Santonio Holmes sleepers. They are going to be stud WR's this year. Plus McFadden was targeted by everybody and there mother at my draft, I wouldn't really concider that a sleeper either

I like Ray Rice and Kevin Smith as sleeper RB's

and..

Anthony Gonzalez, Javon Walker and DeSean Jackson as sleeper WR's

Good picks Craigums. You're right that in a traditional sense those guys are getting a lot of attention and in some leagues aren't sleeper picks. I'm going with the loose definition of someone drafted too late in many leagues or someone that outperforms their draft position.

do you think that Duece M is a good pick up or no.

I think MacFadden is going to be a bust but that is my opinion. Duece M is an injury risk but if he plays he'll probably get the score

We do an auction and I'll defintely take Duece if the price is right.

Duece has two bionic knees. They have been rebuilt so many times I would say it is an EXTREME risk to grab duece. I would look at that pierre thomas before him

ya its tough. the league that i picked him up in is a 12 person league. and there just isnt alot to pick from now.
