Hoyt4
All have back straps that would grill up nice.I agree with most 1.5 for the first 3 and the lat one could be pushing older at the most 2.5.
Christopher Quast
First 3 are yearlings and the last one is a 2 1/2 year old and I would say he is absolutely no older than that. I dont think he'll even make the 100" mark this fall let him walk he's got potential!!!
bae501
Thanks guys for all the info. Now these pictures were taken on 30 acres of woods that my girlfriend and will be hunting. There are several does and fawns on the property also. Now for Quality Deer Management what should we focus on for this year? Mature doe, smaller buck?FYI:There was a 3 1/2 year old 8 point and and 1 1/2 spike taken last year.
DonBo
If you're talkin QDM, the does are your only choice. Smaller bucks are always off limits in QDM. However, 30 acres is not a big piece of property. If your neighbors aren't on board you may be waisting your time letting the smaller bucks walk.If you see a deer you would be proud to have your photo taken with, and it'll go nicely in your freezer, take him and enjoy the hunt.
