refurbished ipods

I had posted this same question on the photo site re cameras. How about ipods? Anyone with any thoughts or experience buying refurbished ipods from the apple store?

They are fine - Apple's always good about supporting them.

A WORD OF CAUTION - They are over due to refresh the iPod line and that will probably happen this fall. They are already running short of current iPod lines and rumors are out that prices may take a drop - following the iPhone price drop.

If I were you, I'd wait until the end of September to see if this happens.

I have a refurb 8gb Nano 2 and haven't had any major issues. I had a click wheel go bad and had a new unit in 2 days. Zero hassles. I wuouil/will buy refurb again.
