What's been working?

Fishing has been a little bit tough for me the past couple weeks. How has everyone else been doing, what patterns/depths/locations seem to be producing best?

I have been doing best out past the weed edge on hard bottom.. .Rock to sand trasistions. On some lakes that may be 6 feet on others is may be 14... but most bigger fish have been past the weed edge.

I got out for a few hours tonight and fished a stained lake with lots of standing timber. Got a 4lb and and 5lb along with some smaller ones in the trees, but there is not much of a weedline on that lake. Got them on a jig and pig. BTW it was my first time on the lake so I was pretty happy with the results.
