Certified Scale

Just wondering where people have taken fish to be weighed? Looking at the Master Angler program, if you harvest a fish that's a qualifying weight, you're supposed to have it weighed with a certified scale. That doesn't work too well @ 9:30 pm. Looks like I'll have to wait until morning.

Any butcher shop or post office will have a certified scale.

yep, Cub or Rainbow... never done iit myself but have seen it done a few times...

If you buy a high quality scale like a boga grip or other brand, you can send it in to be certified and they will send it back with a letter and sticker on the scale that says "certified by IGFA.

It's not a record. But it's a fish that qualifies for the Master Angler program that's on the DNR HSOforum.
