mmeyer
I was happy to finally get my first keeper Cardinal images this morning. Now I'll have to go for one without the feeder in it. Next is a house finch and the last one I believe is a Solitary Sandpiper (I've posted it in the bird watching forum for verification.).
MN Shutterbug
Dead on exposure and tack sharp. What more can you ask for, besides without the feeder?
buzzsaw
Nice shots, Mike. I might dial back the red channel a bit on that cardinal. I know my Nikon really oversaturates the reds.
finnbay
Very nice!
Steve Foss
Sweet images! As Mike said, the reds can be desaturated a bit. It's also worth noting that birds with very bright red feathers will show increased feather detail if the reds are slightly desaturated on PP instead of saturated. mmeyer
Is this more like it should be Steve and Buzz? It seems a little dull to me now. Any suggestions to make it pop a little?
JR777
Really like the tack sharp detail on those Mike Looking forward to your next set. P.S. I think the cardinal would look right somewhere in the middle of those two ranges
dukhnt
Nice work mike. I saw a bunch of cardinals this morning on my bike ride. Didn't have the camera with though. Also spotted a green heron. Guess I will have to try to lug the camera along.
