Twins-Tigers Series

Nice win by the Twins tonight! Livan pitched a gem against a very tough line-up. He pitched great to get out of the jam in the 2nd and then never looked back. It was nice to see everyone getting in on the action as well. Also, 4 Ks in 2 innings of work for our bullpen? Very nice!!

Unfortunate for Gomez though! He was having a very nice game! But, I think he will be alright and continue to steal bases at lighting speed in no time!

Nice little 3 game winning streak and back to .500 now and lookin for that division lead! Look out White Sox!

It baffles me how Livan gets hitters like that out. Watching him pitch makes me want to go grab a bat. Hope he can keep it up for another five months, he pitched a really good game.

He must be busy preparing his official statement. cry.gif I wonder if he will bring up that lead dog and view thing again. ;\) Either that or flash back to 2005 and remind us how good they were THEN. grin.gif

Ya I am sure it will be something like, "When was the last time your Twins have been to the world series" Is all he has has to work with the last few years!

BTW everyone, even CBS sportsline fantasy baseball writers rip the Twins.

Last time I checked we were in First.

"Bonser has now allowed five or more runs in two of his last four outings, and Sunday's game erased those memories of him picking up a much-needed win Tuesday as he allowed one run in seven innings against the White Sox. Expect this kind of inconsistency from Bonser all season. He is just an average pitcher on a non-contender. He is a low-end Fantasy SP in mixed leagues at best."

That was a post by CBS sportsline.

They R not smart.

Just keep letting the national "experts" keep on writing off the Twins... We are a contender for sure if the rest of the division keeps playing like this, Nathan continues to close the door, and the M&M boys continue to hit...
