Finally ordered my self a new toy.

It's not a big deal, but I just ordered the 430EX with better beamer. I was just about ready to get the flash from Beach Camera thru Amazon for $250, but then decided to check a few of the reputable online photo outlets. Adorama had a demo listed for $214. I called and the salesman immediately took $5 off to bring it down to $209. That was pretty neat of him. It comes in original box and manual and warrantee. He said it was on display in their store, in a glass display unit. They also had the better beamer for $39, which is a pretty common price. With this setup, I'll be more inclined to shoot birds that are backlit.

Way to go, man! More fun to come. I love the exposure compensation ability right in the flash itself, and by switching it to manual you can dial the flash down to 1/64 of full strength.
