Just read about the trainwreck in the new I-F Muskie guide and RK also mentioned it his spinnerbait piece in the latest T-N-B Esox Angler.

Are they out yet? If so, where? Have any of you seen or used them? I really need to get fishing so that i quit filling my time with adding more gear!!

A friend of my dad's gave my a clamp-on downrigger over the winter and I was thinking it could be fun to try the video trolling - if for nothing else I'd maybe learn a thing or two about the 'skis behavior.

The Trainwrecks are in Production, and the only thing they are waiting on is Some Final Packaging. Should be out in the next couple Weeks.....They are a nice looking bait.

That was an interesting article, and the camera rigger trolling looks like it would be a blast. I would like to try it sometime.

Yeah I am in Blaine, and fish White Bear and Hairy Sparrow all the time, on week nights.

Sounds good - once the seaon rolls around we can trade contact info to hook up. Would you say White Bear is the clearest musky lake in the north metro or would there be a better one to try it on?

From what I have seen White Bear is one of the clearest lakes in the metro period. Sounds like a good time.

I, too, would be willing to give it a try with you. I fish white bear a little bit as well as Bald Eagle. BE isn't as clear as WB, but I've had better luck on BE. Shoot me an e-mail sometime.

Probably my favorite bait to throw is the spinnerbait. I got a few trainwrecks from Nature Vision earlier this spring to show at the sport shows and seminars that I have been doing. They've been getting quite a bit of interest...big profile on that bait. Can't wait to get out and use them!

I've been told they'll be available before the opener. I'll be talking to Cory this week and will try to post an update on where and when you can get them.

I just talked with Cory at Nature Vision. Trainwrecks shipped out a couple of days ago. You should be able to find them at Reeds, Gander, Cabelas, and possibly Fleet Farm (not sure about that). You can also order them online at crazy crank lures . com. Aaron might be getting them at musky tackle online as well...so you might check with him.
