I heard a rumor that GM is no longer making the Tahoe hybrids? They just came out with this vehicle!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it is probably not true. I haven't seen nor heard anything about them stopping production, and in times like these it wouldn't be a very good idea. People still want SUVs, they just want better mileage.

I too will say it is fiction. GM is trying to push the Green vehicles, I dont think they are cutting any.

It doesn't appear so. They added a new exterior color and different interior options for the 2009 model.

Yeah, I couldn't find anything either about them getting cut out. Another vote for fiction.

I just looked this up on Wikipedia, and I call foul on their MPG listed for the Hybrids- 22 HWY and 21 City. Don't see it not with a 6.0 Litre. BTW- they have the 09 Hybrid on there

I am pretty sure its fiction as well. They spent a ton of money on the development of it.

BTW - one of the major auto mags (use your imagination) just did a roadtest on it and it got pretty much the listed MPG ( I think they got 20.5 combined ). GM did some tuning on the engine to get better mileage, but less horsepower. However, paired with the electric engine, its actually quicker 0-60. Of course, its significantly more expensive!!!
