harvey lee
I would like to welcome Jason Mitchell rods as a new sponsor in the HSO open water program. With the huge success of Jasons ice rod line up, I'm sure many will enjoy using Jason's open water rods. Jason Mitchell Elite Series Rods announces that the company will sponsor Fishing Minnesota (www.fishingminnesota.com) open water program. A popular internet site where anglers gather to exchange up to date and cutting edge fishing information. Jason Mitchell Elite Series Rods has quickly earned a reputation for building some of the most advanced species specific and application specific ice rods and now offers some of the most advanced open water walleye fishing rods in the industry. "We enjoy working with Fishing Minnesota and value the feedback we receive from their knowledgable field staff," explains company president Jason Mitchell. This company continues to turn heads in the fishing industry by staying ahead of the curve. An example is last winter's lake trout ice rod that featured a spiral wrapped guide system. Other examples include a unique telescoping slip bobber rod and fourteen foot trolling rod. There are also lots of rumors floating about some really cutting edge stuff that will be available this upcoming winter for ice rods. Find out more at http://www.jasonmitchellrods.com. Powerstroke
Congrats and welcome (back) to Jason Mitchell Rods. I really enjoyed the JM ice rods this winter. The price was right, the rod was great and the one time I needed customer service it was top notch!!I've got my eyes on that slip bobber rod and the 9ft trolling rod. Those Mille Lacs walleyes won't know what hit them, but I'll feel the hit.
Jim Hudson
These rods are definately the real deal for the serious walleye angler. I used the open water rods extensively last season from jigging to rigging to bottom bouncing and to slip bobbering. With that, I was very impressed by how sensitive the blanks were and how well the rods balanced for all presentations. My favorite is the 7'6" ML. This rod did all duties from rigging, to pitching jigs, dead sticking, and even slip bobbering (For you Mille Lacs riggers, this longer rod is dynamite with long snells)!!!And now with the addition of more trolling rods along with the slip bobber rod, the Elite Series summer rods have something for any and all anglers.
