Powerstroke
I spent the better part of today working on various parts of my turkey hunting skills. I brought a friend and my sister out to mnmuzzleloader's farm again for some extra credit on the shotguns. We patterned a little bit more and let the kids shoot the .410 for some extra shooting practice. I'd rather teach fundamentals than have them worry about flinching from too many shots behind the 20ga. My buddy Dan, Lance and I took a few rounds of shooting the bows including a couple rounds from inside the Double Bull blind. Fantastic!! When I was feeling really good I put a shot into the neck of that turkey target....might have to think about Guillotines?!? On the way home I picked up a new Cody calls slate for that perfect purr and then my sister and I practiced with the diaphragm calls. I think I finally figured out how to use the diaphragms. Its only taken me 3 yrs. I got it sounding pretty good on the way home. Anyway. Our hunt is next weekend and I can't wait. Good luck to everyone on your spring hunts! mnmuzzleloader
Yes it was another great day at the range, not so much wind but still a great time! We are ready to get the birds flopping on the ground. Once I get the 20 gauge thing figured out we will be good to go?!?!!?
