Ranger Fisherman ??

I recently purchased a used 1999 681 VS Ranger Fisherman. My problem is this. The front bow base doesn't seem to receive the standard 1.77" spring lock pedestal. Do I need some sort of adapter or bushing? I can't figure this out?

I think that there should be a black plastic bushing in the hole. I was told that ranger offers a kit to instal a new bushing if the original one falls out. I would call up a dealer and see what they say. they might even have one in stock.

Call the dealership and talk to the service department. Tell them what you have going on, and they will hook you up.
