I could be wrong but think they'll have their hands full with Baltimore.

Happy to say you were wrong. grin Not one of Manny's better games (6 walks) but they pulled it out with the long ball. Would've liked to have seen Mota finish it and rest Torres for a day but it wasn't to be.

Mota has been less than stellar lately to say the least....I didn't catch any of the game last night but from the post am assuming it was sickening. Getting ready to fire up Uecker for this afternoons game.

CC has made his first week debut and what a debut it was. 2 wins and a yard sale!

Hopefully the brewers break the no playoff streak this year because the Laporta loss could really hurt in a few years.

Tough game tonight for the Crew with Lohse on the mound and Suppan coming off the DL. An unimpressive, but important win last night. I was hoping to split the 4 games, with last nights win and Sabathia and Sheets coming up tomorrow and Thurs night they should be able to pull that off - 3 of 4 would be huge.

This division is far from settled.

There is so much time left anything can happen.

Injuries, hot streaks, cold streaks....too much time left to get excited yet.

Cubs will send a message when they sweep the brew next week smile

GO CUBS GO!

Sabathia, Sheets, Parra, Mcclung VS Lilly, Zambrano, Dempster, Harden

Should be a darn good series!

Brewers are making a case for being the hottest team in baseball right now and Melvin is not likely done making moves.

A brewers sweet would really get cub-nation squawking!

Hopefully they can keep the momentum going - it would be great to head to Chicago with at least 3 out of 4 from St Louis....no reason that shouldn't happen with the first two out of the way.

I have to hand it to CC...what a pick-up for the Brewers. He has completely taken over every game he pitches. Unbelievable.

Meanwhile my Cubs are suffering from an anemic offense.

Big game tonight smile

I think it's time for CC to be handed his 1st loss. Lets hope he does as well as the last time he faced the Cubs. Baseballs were flying everywhere! smile
