i have been waiting to recieve my permit to purchase for 3 weeks now. Just curious if anyone else has applied for a permit lately and how long it had took you to recieve yours. Im starting to think the police chief in the town i live in didnt even send off the paper work.

Also in the application they want your physical address and my p.o. box and physical address are different so im wondering if that might be the reason i havent recieved the permit.

call the police chief and ask what the delay is. Mine took the standard 7 days. I think that is going to be your best course of action.

When I applied for my first permit to purchase, I had to go ask for it after the 7 days.

They probably figured since I lived across the street from the Police Station, it was easier for me to walk across the street than for them to mail it out.

Yep, a P.O. box in the address information, can be a disqualifier for even a permit to purchase.I know it is for sure, on the permit to carry.I would suggest you redo your app, and put down your actual home address.Call your police dept. to verify what the delay really is.I would venture to say the p.o. box is the issue.

im assuming the p.o. box and the regular address screwed me. Im going to call the police station tommorrow and if i dont get a hold of anyone go in on friday.

oh it is just lovely

got up at 5:30 this morning to "brush" the snow off the girlfriend's car...go figure her school is just about the only one in the state not cancelled or delayed

the snow was THICK...lots of moisture in it, that's for sure. Should bode well for the ducks / drought areas in the state.
