Steve Foss
Nice lil cutie, MM. Shoot us a post when you do start seeing the first warblers.
Dave S
I saw my first a few years back and they were all over the place. I used to know most every bird in MN as a kid as bird books were my bible. I'm not so fluent any more. Is this a Common Yellowthroat? These and Yellow Warblers were together in this frenzy that I was lucky enough to witness. MARINERMAGNUM
Yep, yellowthroat. We'll do Steve. I have already seen Yellow Rumpers and Hermit Thrush if that helps.
Steve Foss
That does help, MM. The y-r warbler is always the first or nearly the first warbler to head north.Of course, the NWS is predicting from 8 to 16 inches of snow up here late tonight and through tomorrow, so that'll hold things up a bit. MN Shutterbug
Another cool looking bird that I've never had the pleasure of seeing. Thanks for sharing. Now if I do see one, I'll know what it is.
