First LM bass sighting in open water

I was enjoying the spring like weather today while biking. On my tour I went over a channel of open water. I always wear my polorized sunglasses just in case I am near water. In any event took a peek and to my delight I saw 4-5 nice LM bass enjoying the spring weather as well.

Was at Bass Pro Shop in Springfield this last weekend, started talking to one of the workers there about bass fishing and how he has been seeing fish starting to move up and spawn down there. That really got me pumped for the season!!!!

In Florida the Bass are long done spawning.
