I WON A GUN

NWTF Banquet last night in Woodbury. Won a 12 ga. Browning BPS. Unlike other posts recently questioning what to do with their winnings, I'm keeping this one.

Joel, you won the gun of the year? The Wetherby? That was a beautiful gun! Nicest we've ever had at our banquet. Way to go.

The Weatherby was gorgeous, but scary for a guy like myself. I'd love to be able to hold onto it, but I'm sure some day I'd try and take it out for something and put some massive gouges and scratches in the thing.

Good to hear you got a BPS. All the Brownings throw some great patterns IMO, probably has something to do with the back-boring.

Wow, congrats to both of you. Joel, the problem with a safe queen gun is that you will never use, just clean it and stare at it. I don't have a safe queen in my safe so if you're worried about denting your safe queen, I'll gladly take it off your hands

Congrats on the win of guns. I have 3 of those type guns where one just looks at them. I would rather have two that I can use for the one that looks pretty. I still have the three I won though.
