favorite hook?

Here are the Decoy Hooks that are my favorite. They are made in Japan and not widely available in the US market. With a little searching on the net you can find them and they are awesome!

The last time I posted my favorite hook online, I couldn't find it in the stores for weeks. I'm serious, I don't why, but it was a funky coincidence.

So now my favorite hook is a bronze number 8 Eagle Claw salmon egg hook.

I use good ol Big Trout Hooks. Just look in the trout section I'm sure there's a bunch of Mustads all over. Find the wide gap chrome nickel finish, size 1 and up to 3/0.

Bassattack, first off welcome to FM. Good group of people here with a wealth of knowledge on many different topics.

Second, I'm not sure exactly where you are located in Iowa, but check out Fin and Feather (Iowa City) this spring and summer for those standout hooks if you are in the area. They will be carrying them...
