Howdy. When can I start fishing the Croix for Muskies as a MN resident. Thanks for the help.

pretty sure muskie and bass both open on the croix with the MN opener dates.

There was a thread on this in the St. Croix forum. I don't think it opens on the croix until the fall.

Never mind, had a brain fart, it's the sturgeon there was a discussion about. I would assume musky are the same as anywhere else, but read the regs if you have doubt.

From the WI 08-09 Reg book, apparently you can go by the WI opener which is May 24th.

thanks vahn. i did'nt know that. i was'nt trying to get the whole river all to myself for 2 weeks or anything. really. i aint fibbing. just a ''honest'' mistake.... honest. man the things ya learn here, huh?
