Why is the barn empty tonight?

What a disgrace...the gophers get a home game in the nIT and they can't fill it up. What more is this team suppose to do for you?

Of course they will lose to Maryland but they got a tough draw...

I have very fond memories of driving down the 3+ hrs to see an NIT opening round win against New Mexico a few years back. Enjoyed the game from courtside seats, but rather shocked to be among only 1,000 or so fans. We had a ball, but the "serious" fans are supposedly only interested in the 'real' tournament. Bah.

Then, I figured this year would be different: the Tubby factor... everyone already resigned early on to the fact that the Big Dance wasn't gonna include any gophers... a couple of Big Ten tourney wins... Maryland... it seemed to add up to at least a half-full Barn. No... Oh well. Wish I could have been there. Win or lose, nothing like a game at the Barn.

Still a team who won what 10 games last year with no chance at anything double their wins with one of the best coachs in NCAA history get a chance to play in the post season that is pretty sad more people should have been their

blame it on the spring break. Provided the students would only fill the ends. The top was empty the sides were half full. I figured it would be much fuller than that! Sad they didn't play all that well either!
