Canyonlands - Maze District

I'm fishing for opinions on this shot. It was a shot I took last year at Canyonlands NP on the way to the Maze District. I found it again tonight and decided to re-work it as a B&W. I'd like to hear honest opinions on what you think. Thanks in advance. Mike

I like it. With this viewpoint, it appears that this scene can go on forever, especially the right 2/3 of the shot. However, it's just a little too barren, I feel. A lone tree or something, would improve things, IMO.

I like it. Something about it keeps drawing me in... perhaps it is the ominous clouds.

I'll bet this image is best in black and white! Wise choice.

For me, the uncluttered distance is a plus.

Black and white is great for this image. I like it this dark. It adds a foreboding, a sense of tension, that a lighter image might not.

It is an awesome image, Mike. I wasn't sure I liked the minimum of contrast in the lower half of the photo when I first saw it, but it really grows on me. Well done!
