Guest
Besides "Big", what other characteristics do you need in a sled? Some considerations may be do you plan to be pulling the sled by hand, pulling by sled, or ATV, short distance or long distance in deeper snow on trails, or off trail? There are a wide variety of sleds available these days. So fitting it to your particular needs is easier then ever.------------------Ed CarlsonBackwater Guiding"ED on the RED"[email protected]701-281-2300><,sUMo,>
willowcat
I've used an older otter sled for a few years now. My ice house is the kind you cary on your back. The problem I have is once the house is up, it's hard to move. Then I have to go back and move the sled. I tried to get the otter-skin to put on my sled so I could be more mobile, but they no longer sale them for the older style sled. So I would recomend getting a sled with the flip over house skin on it. There are many kinds to choose from. All your gear fits in them and you have your portable just incase you decide to venture away from your perminent.
