Slush Inhalers (are they worth it)

I was just at Fleet Farm and they had slush inhalers for $32. I was really tempted because I've seen that a few people on here said they work great. I didn't get one because they look rather large to be taking on the lake especially when you have a sled behind a wheeler.

Can you use them when drill out the holes in your shack when the entire hole is nothing but slush, or do they only work when there are lesser amounts of slush.

I think they're great for wheelhouses, but for me and hole hopping they are just too much weight and space for the run and gun flipover shack anglers.

I guess it depends what your style of fishing is and if you have room.

My son gave one to me and I use it in my wheelhouse. It works great for this. I don't use it in my portable because I just spin my auger to clear the hole and I think it takes up too much room in a portable.

Like others have said they are a lifesaver in a permanent house, well worth the money. Especially with as much ice as we have now...Not something you would want to bring along in a portable though.

Great for the wheelhouse. I don't bring it with me when I have the portable, but my dad doesn't go fishing with out it. If I am driving on the ice I will bring it with saves a ton of time. Well worth the money IMO.

I have an 8 and 10 inch one, love them to death in the house. Doesn't take much time to clear the slush, and no mess! Gander has them for $29 right now in Bemidji!

I bought one this year for the wheel house, it paired with a slush bucket when you are drilling is a must have in my opinion.

If you own permanent house, skid or wheel, you'll definitely want one!

For portable house fishing, fishing outside, etc, its not really necessary.

i have a sleeper house on skid.and that 10 inch slush inhaler is my best bubby.the holes can be packed with slush and this baby gets the job done fast.

This simply must be your first purchase after getting into a perm house. This is my first season with one after 2 without, and I am SOOOOOO happy I bought one. Cuts slush cleaning time by 3/4 easily.
