lazer mag express?

i have a lazer mag express thats 3 years old and this year it started catching towards the bottom of the hole and not drilling as fast so i bought new blades and it still drills slowly so i sharpened the point on the end of the auger so now its sharp and has new blades but it still doesnt drill like it should any ideas on whats wrong? and help is appreciated

Sounds like somethings either between the blades and auger or somethings bent out of pitch.

If it's not spinning as fast as it should, it might be bogging down due to gum up. I have the same auger, and the exact same thing happened to me at the end of last year and again this year. I sprayed some carb cleaner in it, changed the gas and also added sea foam. It's running a lot better now, spins faster and isn't getting stuck at the bottom of the ice either.

Change gearing grease and check the clutch. Make sure you maintenance the filter and what else that needs to be. Check you manual for service. If that doesn't remedy it then more likely it can be the clutch slipping due to being worn from hard usage. Clutch may need to be replace.
