WifeKidsandDog
I:m itching to get out and take photos but the cloudy, dull weather this week -- ugh -- I need sunshine. Anyway, these were taken within the last couple of weeks. All taken with the 5D and 17-40L.

WifeKidsandDog
Hah, can't give it enough of a workout in this weather. I've got a lot to learn with the new camera. The only time the sun came out here this week was during the 30 minutes I was standing in line at the post office -- to mail the 40D to its new owner. MARINERMAGNUM
I really like the 2nd image! It may be my monitor, but for some reason these look OOF or not sharp on the finer details like the wording on the church door??I will have to check my monitor. fishinchicks
I keep going back to the 2nd one. There is just something I like about an old country church.
WifeKidsandDog
I love that old church -- it's near Rice Lake State Park and it's hard to believe that the area was once a very busy village with stores, doctors office and even photography galleries. The church is privately owned but a group of people interested in preserving it got together this summer and did some work to ensure it'll be around for a while longer. This was a few months ago: I also love that whoever does own it, goes along and puts something on the church doors for holidays -- flags and wreaths for July 4 -- and this one for Christmas and New Year
Paul
Cheryl,I love them all. I am a sucker for old barns also. I like the church shot the best. I like the aspect of the church against the background. It is a real winner in my book.
