Will a Clam Voyager fit in a Ford Ranger with the tailgate closed?

I don't Know if this will help you, but my voyager fits in the back of a 2001 toyota tacoma with the gate closed. I think that the ranger and the tacoma are fairly compairable.

How long is your box? If it is larger than 71 inches then I'd say it would fit. The voyager is 71" x 38" collapsed. So you also need to make sure of your width of the box as well. I have a Yukon and it barely fits in my Avalanche

it just fits in my 1/2 ton chevy crew cab.its very easy to put in the box.

I'm about 99% sure that it won't. I have an F150 and the box is about 6" short.

Its not bad loading up with 1 person. I have about 60# of extra stuff in my sled and can do it alone. Sure is nice having a 2nd person though.

Dimensions on the box say 72" long and I have a 6' box so I might give it a shot. If nothing else I guess I could build a wedge to keep it at an angle. Thanks for the help.

Ijust got mine it fits in my ford explorer 4 dr.

Mine fits in my '05 Tundra Double cab but just barely.

I put it in there by myself fully loaded (auger, 20 lbs tank, etc) with a snow bank it's easy, with out it takes some doing.

Just make a ramp or two out of 2 x 6 or wider boards that are about as long as your bed. Attach a 2 x 2 or 4 cross ways on one end to help grip your tail gate for sliding out/in.

Throw the board(s) in alongside the house to store.

I have my Voyager WAY over loaded with gear and I can do this easily by myself.
