Cabelas or Marcum camera

Staying low budget here and hoping for some input. I am looking at getting a budget camera for the wife to have some fun with. I like the Aqau-vu 50 but don't like the idea of the battery enclosed. I would rather be able to swap it in and out.

Looking at the cabelas 5" and the marcum 250. Basically the same thing but just wandering which is overall better. I know marcum is amazing but just getting some opinions want to order it today so I have it by the weekend for the wife to use.

Thanks for your input.

I'm no expert, but I've been looking at getting a camera this winter, and I believe they are essentially the same camera. If the components are the same, I'd go with the Cabela's camera to save some dollars.

I have the Cabelas 7" model. It works great until it gets dark. From my understanding Marcum makes these cameras for cabelas, which is why I went the cheaper route and bought the Cabelas one. I don't use mine all the time but it sure is good to have when the fish are finicky like they are in February to actually see how a fish responds to different movements and bait.

I also purchased the Cabela's 7" when it was on sale and have no complaints. It is true that it is only good until dark...but then you trust your Vex (or Marcum). My Father-in-law has an older Marcum and an Aqua-view with smaller screens...and he likes mine better due to the large screen.
