where are they biteing

Hey guys i live in blaine i havent made it out yet cant beleave it any way i want to take the kid to the lake before ice out can anybody tell me were there biteing in my area and give me some details ???

Habersplat... If you are interested you can join us at the Baby FMer Get Together - Feb 23rd and get the lil ones out with a whole bunch of others to catch some fish.

I often visit the Chisago area lakes and usually do pretty well out there. The size isn't the greatest always, but you can keep a kid busy out there. Most all of the lakes can provide pretty consistant panfish action throughout the day.

Sometimes it's a hit or miss in Centerville and Forest Lake, but if you just follow the crowd in Chisago it's a higher chance of tangling with the fish.

I did get my limit at Centerville and it was all just one meal, for me....When I think of Croix crappies, it would only be two or three fish...or URL crappies and it would only be one maybe two fish for a meal.

I was out on Centerville last Saturday, and slipperybob is right the action is hit or miss. When they came through it was fast and furious though. It was sure a zoo out there though.

I was out on Linwoood the past weekend and caught nothing but 6 inch crappies. Not alot of them, but enough that my 5 year old had fun.
