Do yourself a favor and give it another try with those stretchy things tightened up to prevent the air loss. Good luck!

Its amazing the difference that is made when you snug up the stretch cords at the bottom of the jacket.

I experienced the same thing you did 'sjburnt'. I always fish with my back to the wind and the wind will blow right up the back of my jacket if I don't snug it up a little bit.

Big, big difference. grin.gif

It could be my body temp is a little higher than normal, thus the sensitivity to the cold.

Bob/Mn could it be you had quite a hike to get to your stand and kept your jacket on the whole way and ended up getting to sweaty ? The one thing that I have found is the AA will reflect a lot of body heat so when I do things that require a lot of movement I will take my jacket off until I am going to sit still and when I start to feel almost chilled then I will put on my jacket and feel great the rest of the time. For me that also requires taking off my hat but in the long run I will feel so much better.

I am real luckly and only have a 200 yard hike ,no chance of getting sweaty. The big key to stay warm in 10 degree temps is not to sweat.
