4 stroke augers?

I busted the plastic flighting on my striklite yesterday. It sounds like strikemaster will replace it at no cost. If I have the chance to get a metal auger, should I go with the lazer mag or the 224 (4 blade model)?

I have the two blade model on mine & I am very happy with it, I have never tried a four blade so I am not sure about them?

Sorry for the late reply. I done a bad thing and got punished, but I'm sorry and it won't happen again.

Answer to your question is it is a jetting adjustment and should be done by a reputable small engine mechanic. I have a guy locally that I trust to do this for me. I think I've heard that StrikeMaster has a deep freezer on site that they will put your auger in overnight and adjust the next day. Heresay...call them.

Otherwise post the question in the Expert Info Forum and someone can point you to the straightest path. I remember a similar post in that forum mid to late Dec. That's where I got my info.

TB2 is right. A adjustement to the jetting is needed to fix the cold start issue on the four strokes. The pilot jet needs to be drilled out a little to allow a bit more fuel on start up.
