Favorite Trolling Motor Battery Type

Well, I think it's been since 2000 when I last got new batteries for my electric trolling motor. I'm pretty sure one of them is ready for replacement since it won't take a complete charge (based off the charger lights). I'll probably replace them both at the same time.

What manufacturer/type does everyone recommend? It is a 24 V system, and I am currently running gell cells. I figure anywhere between 6-8 years is pretty good, but looking for people's recommendations to replace the batteries.

I like my Intersate batteries. 24v system, 70lb PD V2. Aluma Trophy 180. So, its not a very light load. Troll around all day. Havnt been able to totally drain em yet even beating em up on Mille Lacs.

The (GNB?) Stowaways (group 31) I bought several years ago still seem to be doing fine.

i usally run northland becuase i can exchange them year after year!!!

I have ran Interstates for a long time and have had very good luck with them. There customer service here in Superior is very good and thats what keeps me going back.
