There is differant numbers for differant areas...If you look in the back of the MN fishing regulations book It lists all of the numbers then you can just plug in the numbers for the areas you fish most often

Free service I believe. I didn't get a charge when I called it, that I remember anyways.

TIP is nonprofit 501©, and they asked for #TIP so I believe if there is a cost it is charged to the organization and paid for by donations. It is equivalent to calling their 1-800 number.
