Lund's Fiberglass Boats

I'm looking forward to seeing these at the boat show tonight.

You'd think they could rattle off more that one photo on the HSOforum. I really don't think these boat manufacturers "get" that consumers are looking at their websites . . .

From what I heard, the Lund HSOforum is currently being revamped....stay tuned.

The 208 Pro-V GL was unveiled tonight and it is one SWEET boat!

I agree Darren LUNDS new glass boat is the new boat to see.

LUND has really put together one heck of a new glass boat for the boating world. LUND will soon be a major player with their new glass line up.

I cannot wait to get a ride in this fishing machine.

The Ultimate Fishing Expierence, is true for this new LUND product. When the boat was uncovered today at the show, all there were very impressed with the hard work and designing that went into the making of this boat. Looks to be well worth the wait.

Yes indeed, I just returned from the show and I will say that Lund definately has taken on a new identity, well maybe just revamped their old one. Boy I knew Lund was coming out with a Glass boat, but I was uniformed of all the different models they were putting out in glass as well. That 208 Prov Gl is sweet, I even got to climb in and let's just say this, for a "moment" I was running cranks up on Mille Lacs in 5 foot rollers and thinking about how sweet the smooth ride back to the dock was going to be. Well then the rep asked if everything was ok, one can dream right. Seriously though I was certainly impressed not just by Lund but the Dealers displaying their models, talk about showcasing some awesome rides. The other thing that really took me by suprise was the price tags on some of these rigs, I was expecting everything to be sky high and when I looked at a few of the new rides the prices in my opinion were definately right on target, although I have a few more pennies to save, hopefully next year. That pro-v is great, the rod box, ya 11 rods with some slots holding 8'9" rods, no more collapsing the trolling rods, how sweet is that. All I can add is that if your thinking of buying a boat, spend the 10 bucks or whatever it was to get in, more walleye boats in that place to see than one has time for.

I agree. Lund did a very nice job on these. There's three models to counter Ranger - Lund's version of the 1860 Angler, Lund's version of the 1850 Reatta and the Pro V to counter the 620. All had very nice fit and finish, IPS 2 hulls and were price competitively. In talking with a few contacts at Lund, they're not really expecting to take much of the Ranger fisherman market, but should rival them in the family market in the upper Midwest. They also hope to get market share from the secondary manufacturers (Warrior, Skeeter, etc).

It will be interesting to see where they are in three years.
