Bass boat, where do you keep the net?

I used to stand mine up along side the rod locker on the Stratos with one of those little bungee cords. Standing it up it just becomes a casting fodder and laying down on the floor someone will trip and end up hurt.

I see some guys bungee them to one of the consoles.

I am thinking of looking into those folding/flip open nets just for this reason, that net is ALWAYS in the way.

We have a Beckmann that's just small enough to fit under the console laying diagonally and the handle sits between me and the shifter. I'm sitting with one of my feet inside the net when driving but it keeps it out of the way. It also made us buy a smaller net than I really wanted. I've heard people with the bigger nets say that they can just lay them flat over one of the pedestal seats when they drive, and I guess it has to hang over the side of the boat when they're fishing.

i place mine in the drivers seat, and the handle will lay on the console, when im on the run, i strap it to the floor with the rod straps. This is only durning tournaments. When im just out pre fishing or fooling around, net never comes out

Hiya -

When I bring mine I stand mine up along the side of the boat, or hang it over the motor...

They can sure be a pain sometimes, but still worth having for sure.

Cheers,

Rob Kimm
