To heat or not to heat?

I am thinking about getting a wheel house for next season. I was sitting here looking at the permanents sitting out on the lake and a couple of heating questions came to mind. If you leave your permanent unattended for a day or two, or maybe even the whole week, do you turn the heat off or leave it on? If you leave it on, do you leave it at the same temperature as when your in it, or do you turn it down? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Mine was always on @ it's lowest setting on the thermostat.

(believe it was 50 degrees)

Doesn't use much sealed up with no doors opened and such.

Didn't notice any gas consumption issue that out weighed the convenience and walking in to a warm ready to go house.

But then again I was in mine twice a day, and it was always on the the truck (drop tongue)lake and back home.
