OK...so here's the deal....I got 24 hrs to fish...tomorrow (Monday) noon till Tuesday noon. I REALLY want to get on some fish - Walleye - to be exact. I'm in SE MN near Roch and willing drive 3 hours or so get on some eyes (puts me as far noth as maybe Brainerd or Mille Lacs or as far west as Marshall)...so where should I go? No sled or wheeler for me so I'm either driving the suburban out or hoofing it with the portable in tow.

Who's got a surefire idea for a place to go?????

Thanks for the help.

Honestly, I had better luck when I was in the twin cities. I am not very familiar with the lakes around here, but I would imagine in that area you could head towards the river and find some lakes that have a decent wally population. I am hoping to find a good spot soon, but if I don't, I know where there are some in the cities. Just may not end up on the table that is all.
