two treble hooks on tip up?

my friend asked me if he could have two treble hooks on his tip up rig and i wasnt sure. i breifly looked through the regs and didnt see anything that said you couldnt, but for some reason i didnt think you could. does anybody know the ruling on this? didnt minnesota just go to "no trebles" on any tip ups?

I think you can but must be hooked in to one minnow just like a crank bait with two hooks or like a stinger hook setup.

thanks for the info. i'll have to let my friend know because he bought some materials to make his own quick strike rigs (a lot cheaper than buying them individually).

i think you could put two minnows on, but that counts as two lines, just like in the summer.
