what's it gonna cost me?

It appears that the transmission on my '03 Panterra is out.

Track moves freely when elevated, but won't engage in either forward or reverse. What could be the range of problems and what should I expect to pay to have this fixed?

Did you open the chaincase?

Did u blow a belt. lol?

Belts ok. Did not open chain case.

Ya, did you check the belt? Is it glazed over or worn thin?

If no, it could be a chain sprocket worn or missing teeth. Put a load on it and chain just spinds.

If nothing else, it could be a primary or secondary clutch issue??????

Oh, its got Rev... I would open chain case or drain to see if metal flacks are in lube/oil.

With it in the air rotate the track. Does the brakes rotor spin?
