Having had the chance to fish with RK I will offer this piece of advice.

RK is one of the speakers that you really need to listen to what is said. RK and some of his friends that do seminars or write articles really do tell you how they fish. You might not get the exact spot but listen to the what and you will be able to apply it to your lake.

I want to know when he is going to start on the bass seminar schedule.

I have to agree with Keith here. I have only fished with Rob once, and that was for crappies. However, I saw a presentation he gave to the FM Muskies Inc chapter last winter (or was it the year before). His talk was on fishing pressured waters. He had some very interesting thoughts about this. He also had some interesting twists on an old line of thinking (a line of thinking that has often driven my fishing decisions). I've tried to apply his basic principles on many occasions and it's helped me be a better muskie fisherman. Besides a bunch of smaller fish, I've got a 51" and a 49.5" as a direct result of having listened to his talk.

So... when Keith says Rob knows what he's talking about, I'm one dude he won't have to explain further to convince.

Call me a "dude" too.....

Case in point; last winter RK gave me some tips on how to target the metro tigers. It was more like a detailed cooking recipie card he gave me than just "tips". Step by step, and first time out, two hours into the day, I had a nice tigger in the net. So you know where I'll be on Sunday March 9th for sure.

Rob Spoke at our Banquet in Owatonna last December(if you missed it you missed a good one) about how to fish with a limited time frame it was a great presentation and I think we all learned allot from it, he's one you want to listen to as Kieth said and he's probably even a greater friend to Muskies and Muskie fishermen than he is a angler(if thats possible), Rob works very hard to make fishing better for all of us.

I'll be their to heckle him and throw peanuts \:D .

Spazz... Where will you be coming from??? University Drive??? You meant to put in University AVE... and it will be whole lot easier if you use Central Ave instead... Central Ave is also known as hwy 65... it will take you to 105th Ave... in fact the MN Muskie Expo HSOforum says 105th & Central Avenue... Check the HSOforum out... http://www.minnesotamuskieexpo.com

What I would do is go north on 35W all the way to 94 then go west on 94 then go east on 694 to central ave then go north all way on Central to 105th...

Or stay on 35W all way (including the detours) to Hwy 10 west that'll take you to Central Ave... go north on Central to 105th

No idea what seminars will be about... when RK last repiled to this thread, he didnt exactly know what he will be talking about on Sunday yet... but Im definitely intrigued by seminars from Saric, Mehsikomer, Ronnestrand, Hulbert & Hamernick, and RK...

I know I'll be there for sure on Friday and Saturday but not sure about Sunday which is when RK will be having his seminar...

*chuckles* No, Aaron, you're mistaken... its the walleye-colored they banned...

Seriously... after Musky Hunter's article on the double 10 bladed bucktails phenomenon... mentioning about the pink/pink DCG... Pink/Pink probably will be one of the biggest moneymaker behind black, black/nickel, and black/chartreuse... In fact, Im still FUMING at Musky Mayhem for not coming out with Pink/Pink Super DCG yet!!!! dem bastards! grin.gif

Anyone going to the expo, makes sure to stop by and introduce yourself, I will be at the Reeds booth "hardly" working. ;\)

My name is John but they call me "JC". It will be fun to put some faces with the names!

Also, someone will have a pink/pink supermodel for ya rebel, I will contact them and see if they can paint up some 13's pink for the show.

Other than that it will be a great show as always. For someone wanting to get started, it is certainly the place to do it i.e. volume discounts.

I will buy a few customs when I am down there, maybe add to my wally pog collection \:\)

I would love to go to a few of the seminars there and its truly worth it but gotta work...
