I spent the weekend at one of the nicest resorts I have had the pleasure of staying at.

Barky's resort on Ottertail lake located on the west side of the lake was nothing short of a very nice resort to spend a weekend. For anyone looking to spend a weekend or a weeks vacation at the lake, please check out barky's.

From the moment I opened the door into the cabin, until the last step out to go home, it was a very fine stay. From the fireplace to the nice rooms and bathrooms, TV, DVD and beautiful kitchen it was a stay to remember.

If your girlfriend or wife is looking for the resort to relax at, one should at a minimum, check out this resort.

As far as the fishing went, we caught many perch and walleyes and another local lake produced one of the best sunfish bites I have enjoyed for years. My eyes were caught on either a JB lure rattling varmit or a Scenic tackle Go devil.

I couldn't agree more Tom. What a nice place with all the comforts and a beautiful view of the lake to boot.

Let's not forget the fishing and snowmobiling.

A LOT of walleyes in Ottertail and even some perch. Fished not more than 500 yards out from their place and caught eyes. This lake is loaded with structure and the eyes can be found in a lot of differant places.

This was my first visit to the region and came away with some good memories thanks to Barky's.

What I liked best was the location. Bait store and gas on one side, walleyes on the other.
