Oops I shot a hen

I was finally able to get some photos of wild pheasants yesterday. Wow, they are tough to get this time of year.

Thanks, I came up with a lot of bad shots and missed focal points. But, there were plenty of birds and opportunities to shoot them.

I've been tempted to give this a shot, but I have a tough enough time hitting them with the shotgun. Nice captures.

They are tough to hit- either with gun or camera! Well done!

Ya tell me about it being tough. Week before last I had the camera in my lap, on and ready, 10mph on gravel road. 2 dozens birds standing in the ditch on both sides of the road. By the time I get stopped and out of the truck they were in the trees. dump olla.

what county did you get those pictures from? the rooster picture looks like an area I hunt.

Where do you hunt? I can't be telling the whole world where all the birds are. I will tell you that it is out west but not as far west as SD.

well where I hunt there are a lot of birds, it is somewhere about 5 miles from south dakota, there isn't a farm house opposite of the rooster picture is there?

I don't think there was a house, this was right off of a blacktop in western LQP county.

Thanks, I think they are harder to get with the camera than the shotgun. I was a lot of fun and even though only a few of the shots were decent I'll definitely try to capture more pheasants in flight.
