Ya gotta love IS!

Went thru some photos I took today, most of them crappy, due to having a couple things set wrong, and concluded this was my best. I then looked at the exif and was surprised to see that it was shot handheld at 400mm and just 1/100 sec. I'm sure without IS, it would have been quite blurry. This was also at F8 and 640 ISO.

I thought I was having a problem seeing it. I've been having trouble with another post. That IS sure makes a difference. I borrowed a 55-200 VR Nikon this weekend and was surprised how much I could shake and still get a good image.

I like this photo better than the horse photo Nice, it is sharp.
