ATV SUSPENSION

Looking into possible buying an atv, see some have solid rear axle, others have ind. suspension. Which is recommended ?

having had both, SUSPENSION!!!!! unless you don't use it on trails, or other terrain that is rough, you'll get beat up by the solid rear axel more than the irs.

Straight rear axle is better for work applications, but after you ride a trail with Independant Rear Suspension and compare it to the straight rear axle. You will appreciate the Independant suspension.

IRS is good for comfort. A solid rear axle is better for the trails and speed. I've had SRA ATV's for years and you can power slide them much better than an IRS machine, but the IRS is smoother and more clearance.

there are pros and cons to both, one thing I dont like with the IRS is if you ride alot of off-camber stuff it makes it much harder to ride because the quad leans so much more.
