ouside motion lights?

My wife wants some outside motion lights for the garage. They are suppose to stay on dim and then when you walk by they light up totally. How do these work?

They work fine, but I turn mine to only motion detectors, and don't use the dim feature. I just didn't like them, I like seeing from in the house (detached garage) when the lights light up, then I know something/someone is out there

I have one and love it. It stays on bright for the first 4 hours it's on (2 in the summer) then goes to dim until someone pulls into the driveway.

Heath/Zenith also makes a motion detected light that is same as any,But it has a remote to control off, on, dim from inside your house.I installed one last spring, wont get any other after trying it!

I have the dim feature and like it. I leave the switch on all the time. The light come on dim when it gets dark and turn off automatically when it gets light. When motion is detected they come on bright and stay on for a period of time. I think I set mine to stay on for five minutes. The dim is very low and I do not think it uses much power.
