Muzzle loader license question

I was thinking about giving muzzle loader a try this year, but I took a small buck with my rifle, so I was wondering if I can still purchase a muzzle loader license. Also, do you have to designate a particular zone with muzzle loader or can you hunt statewide. Thanks much for any information you can pass on to me.

Unfortunately, you can't purchase a muzzleloader license.

To participate in this years muzzle loader hunt you would need to upgrade your license to an All Season License. You will be asked which area you hunt in but will be able to hunt in any area statewide where you can still hunt. Since you have already taken a buck you would be ineligible for any of the lottery areas. You can still hunt for does in managed and intensive harvest areas.

He can't upgrade because he filled his regular license during the gun season. Unfortunately, he's done for this year with a gun/muzzleloader. It's on page 17 of the regs.
