Farg:

No margs, just beer. Can't screw that up! Just pop the cap and drink 'er down.

In fact, think I need another right now. Umm, where's that darn fridge . . . .

Chumming doesn't necessarily mean using "fish parts" in the water either......

There are plenty of perfectly harmless substances that can be used for chumming other than fish. Without giving away too many secrets I heard cucumbers work well. grin.gif

On a more serious note, yes minnow juice would probably work quite well. How about taking an old film container, pill bottle, etc... and drilling small holes in it. From there you can add some oatmeal and sardines/juice (margarita mix might work well too). Put it on a string, and bam, chum in a bottle. Drop it to the bottom when the gills aren't bitting or there aren't any in the area, pick it up give it a little rattle.......and the rest is history. This came out of Fur Fish and Game Magazine. I've never tried it, but you never know it could work.

Grind up your old minnows and freeze them in a icecube tray . Drop them down the hole. They fall slowly and disolve slowly. Scatfish showed me this one with the blender he got his wife for x-mas! Now you know why he drinks S.T.s beer! He He. Steak and eggs for all.

cucumbers work great!
if you dice em in smaller chunks they float down slow. that nice vegetable texture really bring em in. by the sounds of it we could have a nice minnow salad on the ice next outing. minnow milk shakes, egg shells suprise, sardines in a jar, slice n diced cukes. anyone else have some good ingredients to add smile.gif
