CHODE Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Good luck, I had the same issue, took me months to find one, I found it at a gunsmith, used but good condition.Keep calling around and asking, because these you cant get parts for anymore so their are alot of scrapped ones out their.On a side note a 7400 forearm won't work.I sure love my old but good 742. They will have a replacement stock - they also have had extra/leftover stocks in their shop for many years as well. If you're within driving distance, it'd sure be worth the trip.
