Big ice fishing contests

Aren't there at least 3 big contests every winter? I know of Brainerd and the Eelpout festival, what else is there?

well this is the wrong place for this post but there is fishapalooza on forest lake that is going on this year. and yes eelpout on leech. not sure about any more BIG ones. there is a large one on devils lake in ND

Park Rapids has a good sized ice tourny

There's the Springsteel Resort on Lake of the Woods tourney every year near Warroad that typicaly has great prizes and a pretty fair turnout depending on the weather.

what ever happened to the ones that the ice leaders used to put on like slab feast an such, whent to one on Zipple bay an had a blast caught a 38" pike an missed taking first place cause it had to be a legal fish. Those small ones are alot of fun. Boar

Check out the Ice leaders forum and you will find approx 12 events every ice season. The Slabfest was a blast last season. I would try out the Burntside Bash also if you have never attended. Those lakers are a riot through the ice.
