I'm outta here. Gonna pull a few last minute pranks at camp before everyone gets there.

Deer hunting is important to me. But not so important I'm going to let it turn me into a butthead. A few threads I've participated in the last week make me wonder. Both about my own camp, and other hunters.

We need to be a community. We are not in competition.

Remember to wave, whisper Hi, be courteous to your fellow hunters. All of us will be the better for it.

Be safe. Know your target and beyond. Treat all firearms as if they are loaded. Always maintain control of your muzzle.

If you drink, know when to say when. I drink, and just may take an extra nap some days.

Enjoy folks. If you are in the Lake Itasca area, show up at Lobos for Karaoke Saturday night. I'll be the guy in the orange hat.

Well you all have a great deer opener and lets try to follow what Craig said. I know I am. Good words, nice hand wave and smiles, even if they are yelling at you.

I am out of here (at work) and as usual, going to do my last minute stuff this afternoon. I decided this morning I am going hunting and not fishing this weekend.

I will possibly check back here late tonight, if I can not sleep! But if not, hopefully I will have a buck my noon tomorrow. Ya right!
